El pasado sábado nos unimos a una de las bellas tradiciones de otoño y asistimos a uno de los Pumpkin Patch que nuestra ciudad ofrece...
Pero que es el Pumpkin Patch...
La palabra "patch" se ha usado para describir una parcela de tierra que data de siglos atrás.
En el uso moderno, un pumpkin patch generalmente describe una granja o establecimiento en áreas rurales que almacena una gran cantidad de calabazas en el mes de octubre.
A menudo, solo algunas de las calabazas se cultivan en el sitio y el resto se compra.
En estos ¨patch¨ puedes comprar calabazar y fotografiar una hermosa diversidad de ellas... pero también puedes conocer productos locales, recetas hechas con calabazar, divertirte en familia y participar en actividades recreativas muy divertidas.
Son lugares super divertidos para ir en familia y porque no pintar calabazas y hasta vestir espantapájaros...
Nosotros particularmente en esta ocasión asistimos al Pumpkin Patch de Coconut Grove...
Comimos, nos reímos, sacamos fotos y hasta dimos una vueltita en uno de los laberintos de las siembras de maíz...
Si no te dio tiempo de asistir a un pumpkin patch con la familia este año, estate atento para el año próximo y no te lo pierdas... la diversion es garantizada... y claro.. las hermosas fotografías que allí se logran.

Last Saturday we joined one of the beautiful traditions of autumn and attended one of the Pumpkin Patch that our city offers ...
But what is the Pumpkin Patch ...
The word "patch" has been used to describe a plot of land dating back centuries.
In modern use, a pumpkin patch generally describes a farm or establishment in rural areas that stores a large number of pumpkins in the month of October.
Often, only some of the pumpkins are grown on site and the rest is bought.
In these ¨patch¨ you can buy pumpkin and photograph a beautiful diversity of them ... but you can also get to know local products, recipes made with pumpkin, have fun as a family and participate in fun recreational activities.
They are super fun places to go with family and why not paint pumpkins and even dress up scarecrows ...
We particularly on this occasion attended the Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch ...
We ate, we laughed, we took pictures and we even took a little trip in one of the maze of the corn plantings ...
